What type of red wine sauce you use for homemade pizza? Does anyone have a good recipe?

Basic (but delicious) Pizza Sauce 8 oz tomato sauce 6 oz can tomato paste 1 / 4 cup dry red wine 2 tsp. instant minced onion 1 / 2 tsp. dried basil 1 / 2 tsp. dried oregano 1 / 2 tsp. parsley 1 / 4 tsp. fennel seeds 1 / 4 tsp. Mix ingredients garlic salt. Bring to the boil then simmer for 10 minutes. Use approximately 1 / 2 cup in the pizza. Yield: 1 3 / 4 cups. 2. Chicago Style Pizza Pizza dough (enough for 2 pizzas) 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill 2 teaspoons minced garlic 1 teaspoon chopped fresh basil fresh oregano 1 / 4 teaspoon fennel seeds 1 / 2 teaspoon salt 1 / 4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 1 / 4 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1 (28 ounce) can plum tomatoes, coarsely crushed 1 tablespoon dry red wine 1 teaspoon sugar 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 pound extra- mozzarella cheese, sliced 8 ounces pepperoni, thinly sliced 8 oz mushrooms, cleaned and thinly sliced 1 green pepper, cored and cut into thin rings 1 yellow onion, chopped into thin rings 1 cup thinly sliced black olives 1 pound hot Italian sausage crumbled 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese In a medium saucepan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds. Add the herbs, seeds, salt and red and black peppers, and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds. Add tomatoes, wine and sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until thick, 20-30 minutes. Remove from heat and cool completely before use. Preheat oven to 475 degrees F. Oil December 2 inch round pizza pans seasoned deep dish with extra virgin olive oil. Press a piece of mass in each mold, pushing to the edge and extends about 1 1 / 2 inch sides.
