Best man needs help planning California Winery Tour / Bachelor Party?
My best friend gets married in late October and have been chosen to be his godfather. In discussing some ideas with him during his bachelor party, decided something low key and adventurer. For this trip will be about right and I with the possibility one more. I am planning on a trip of 4-5 days to California to visit a winery and a few check out a few interests, you may need offer.The best way describe my friend is Paul Giamatti character in the movie "Sideways." I have two wine selected because they are a must hit, and J. Robert Mondavi Lohr. So my question is, what are some areas / places that you should check out? Is there a better time to visit the area? Is there a small winery is a must success "? Any worldview that can be offered for this trip would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
You can also reduce Ensenada and go to the cellar down there. There are two I've been to: LA Cetto and Pedro Domecq House.
