North of Santa Barbara is the Danish town of title = "Solvang / Santa Ynez"> Solvang.
This authentic village, with traders dressed in costumes to match, is a pleasure to visit. The city has a very friendly feel to it. We spent some time talking to one of the shopkeepers, and she sent us their strong sense of pride for the Danish community.
As we explored addition, this pride was reported in the way that keep the village clean. Nearly spotless! Undoubtedly, this is the city for shopping. The distinctiveness of each store we visited added to the charm This picture perfect town. From Danish specialty clothing, shoe boutiques, and antique shops, it's all here to satisfy all the desires of the purchase. If lunch time is near, and you've been away from the Danish pastries and chocolates, the people have a great meal to savor.
The name is Solvang Danish for "Sunny Field." Outside the city are attractive apple farms and wineries. It is worth your time to stroll through the countryside. You will see the pride community on display in this beautiful valley.Santa Ynez California
