I'm supposed to take a gift from my hometown to the host family to travel / volunteer program. Is it the right wine?
I'm going before a travel / volunteer project in Costa Rica. I'll be living with a foster family for a month while you are there. The program suggests that we bring a gift for family there, some of our "native area. I live in Wine Country in Northern California, including Napa and Sonoma. Is anyone familiar with the customs (Either at the airport, or within the culture)? Is this an appropriate gift? If not, any other suggestions? And in both cases you have any recommendations on what bring or do there? It's my first time.:) Thanks!
