Wine explosion?
I bought a wine rack that hangs on the wall. I live in a very hot climate. I was wondering if I go on vacation and have the air conditioning is the cause off the wine bottles to explode? I would not like wine all over my walls. Thanks
I agree with everyone. Not a good idea. The other possibility is that the wine can expand and get out of the bottle around the cork. Thus, the cork is sitll in the bottle, but the wine is escaping around. I've seen a couple of times and there was a lso had happened to me before, the last time was a bottle of cheap wine, sitting in my car in position vertical, and the wine was leaked and stained my carpet. When I looked at the bottle, the cork in place. The best thing is to turn the air conditioning either, or to submit the regular wine in the refrigerator temporarily if you are going to be passed within 1 week. Or save them to your friends house, if you can trust them.
