Moab landscape so beautiful New York Times should see before you die

Film crews Love Moab, Utah

You would have to spend a small fortune to create an assembly that can be equal to the scenic beauty of Moab. When you have seen the movie and wondered where the film was shot, was probably in Moab.

I have traveled extensively in the area and can pick up that from a film set at any time. Film crews began filming here in 1950 with the west of Rio Grande. The most recent film is the Austin Powers Goldmember in 2002.

You know when a film crew making the time to actually go to a place that has to be worth the expense. Some of the best memories I have is when you film in Mission Impossible II, where Tom Cruise hangs from the rope on the needle. The views long range, rough terrain to see for miles and miles. I did not see the credits need to know it was in the Moab area.

Thelma and Louise one of the best films of all time chick filmed in Moab. The final scene was the Grand Canyon. Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace is a computer generates the image of the area during the pod race.

I always feel like I've gone to a different planet when you visit this area. In the summer there are the walks in the River added to the adventure and cool. There are miles and miles of bike trails, both on and off road.

Mancha rock track was the challenge for many off-road vehicle and human on a bicycle. You know your in great shape to reach the end of this path.

You can enjoy a great dinner at the Red Cliff Lodge. The cuisine is excellent, from vegan to carnivore. Although I always stop by the store and buy the best bottle of wine. The tasting room allows you to choose one to take home and remember the trip.

The sunset over the river here and dine in the patio are a great way to end a perfect day.

After a long hard work out the day before you may want to visit some tourist attractions in the area. Canyon National Land Park offers some hiking, biking or simply riding in the car. You can visit all the places he saw in the movies and realize that no matter how beautiful the film can not compare to actually being there.

Moab also appears as one of the 1,000 places to see before you die by the New York Times.
